After the workshop

Well I was so impressed with all the participants in the workshop! Everyone had different ideas and areas of interest so that made it fun and engaging. I wish we had longer in order to play more with the tools but at least everyone has a good introduction to some of the basics of several different tools that could be useful to you as students or as teachers.

For me, the workshop was a good experience because I had to plan and prepare it as well as practice with each of the tools. I also feel better prepared now to do workshops in the future and will arrange some things a little differently.

The workshop was a good way to set the stage for the other presentations on at the conference. I thought the sessions were excellent. I hope some of us can meet again in Africa next year!

eLearning Africa Open Source workshop preparation

This blog has been created as one resource for our Open Source workshop. I will use this space to record my thoughts leading up to our workshop and the eLearning Africa conference in general. Once in Zambia I will record my thoughts and impressions. Perhaps this will give you some ideas on how you might use a blog with your students?

This blog can also be a way for us to practice using the blog tool and help us keep in touch after the workshop has ended, so feel free to become a follower of the site.
